Un ataque informático a los servidores de Dinahosting, según cuentan desde algunas de las páginas web que lo han sufrido, ha dejado sin servicio a cerca de 60.000 usuarios en España desde las 16:00 del día de ayer y hasta bien entrada la madrugada.
Se ha tratado de un ataque de denegación de servicio o DDoS, que durante varias horas ha dejado “fuera de línea” a miles de sitios web en España,cerca de 60.000 usuarios que han quedado sin posibilidad de acceder a los servicios contratados con la web de hosting y mail, entre otros. Este tipo de ataques consisten en solicitudes masivas a los servidores para provocar el colapso de los mismos, de tal forma que al sobrecargar los recursos del hardware de los servidores físicos, la información almacenada en los mismos queda inaccesible y, por lo tanto, las páginas web que almacenan se muestran “fuera de línea”.
